Terms of Agreement
By using printingxpert.com or placing an order with Printing Xpert, you agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree, please stop using the website and do not place an order.
Printing Xpert may update these terms at any time. Updates become effective when posted on the website, and continued use of the service means you accept the updated terms.
Orders, Change Orders, and Turnaround
Any job that has been approved or marked ok to print cannot be altered or changed because the approval sends the job into an automated production process.
If a downgrade request is made before digital proof approval, including changes to turnaround time, quantity, shipping method, or similar order details, a $35.00 change order fee may be deducted from the refund.
Turnaround time begins only after your order is processed, payment is approved, artwork is uploaded, and the proof is approved. Jobs submitted into production before the published cutoff begin production on the following business day.
Turnaround estimates are based on business days, Monday through Friday, excluding national and federal holidays. Production delays, weather, mechanical issues, artwork problems, or carrier delays may affect estimated ship dates.
Proofs, Artwork, and File Requirements
The first online PDF or JPG proof is offered at no cost. Additional proofs may be charged per order. Online proofs are intended for checking layout, bleeds, crops, final text, spelling, and placement; they are not guaranteed accurate color reproductions of the final printed piece.
You are fully responsible for reviewing and approving the final proof. Once artwork is confirmed or approved, Printing Xpert is not responsible for layout, copy, typing, spelling, text, spacing, punctuation, image placement, or similar proofing errors.
Hard copy proofs may be requested for certain products and may require additional fees and time. A hard copy proof shows a reasonable likeness to the final print, but paper stock, coating, finish, and production conditions can create expected variation.
Artwork should be provided at a minimum of 300 dpi for offset printing. Designs with content extending to the trim line must include 1/8 inch symmetrical bleed and keep important content outside the caution margin. Printing Xpert allows bindery tolerances, so bleed and caution margins are important for accurate finishing.
For best results, artwork should be prepared in CMYK color space. Printing Xpert is not responsible for color shifts caused by RGB, Pantone, or other color conversions. Large black areas should be set as rich black when appropriate.
Production Standards and Color
Gang-run printing lowers costs by printing multiple jobs together. Gang-run printing is subject to color variation. Color-critical jobs may require a dedicated run and may not qualify for discounted gang-run pricing.
Foil printing, PMS color matching, custom design work, backing up two-sided artwork, bound jobs, and specialty production requirements may involve additional artwork rules, production requirements, or fees.
Printing Xpert reserves the right to place jobs on hold when artwork is suspected to have defects, low resolution, missing bleed, incorrect setup, or other issues that could result in unsatisfactory printing.
Reprints, Refunds, and Cancellations
Customers must notify Printing Xpert within 1 business day of delivery to report defects. Unused product may need to be returned at the customer's expense within the stated return period before a claim is reviewed.
If a claim is approved, Printing Xpert may issue a reprint or account credit. Over-runs and under-runs will not exceed 5%; shortages may be prorated as credit or, at Printing Xpert's discretion, reprinted for qualifying quantities.
All sales are final. Refunds may be unavailable after artwork has been uploaded, submitted, dropped off, sent to customer service, or sent to design services. Approved cancellations may be subject to processing fees.
Shipping, Pickup, and Email Notifications
Unless pickup or mailing services are selected, orders ship using the shipping options available on the website. Estimated transit times are based on business days and exclude weekends, holidays, and the day the carrier picks up the package.
Printing Xpert is responsible for preparing the print order and delivering it to the carrier. Printing Xpert is not liable for carrier delays, weather damage, loss, damage in transit, delivery interruptions, or missed estimated delivery times.
Pickup orders may be held for 30 days from the pickup notification email. If an order is not picked up within that time, it may be shipped to the customer and billed at applicable shipping rates. Printing Xpert cannot ship to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses.
By creating an account, requesting samples, or placing an order, you agree to receive order-related emails. Promotional emails may also be sent according to our privacy policy and opt-in or opt-out settings.
